Depends what the challenge consisted of.

Said challenge should be:

Write a poem including a given word/phrase.
Write a poem inspired by a given story.
Write a story inspired by a given poem.
There shouldn't be one!
A combination of two ore more of the above.
A combination of the first three.
Other (please explain in comments).

And on a sidenote, how are your fairy tales coming? =D

My challenge/award: If anyone decides to do the five (5) fairy tales, and finishes them in exactly 2 weeks, I shall conduct a beautiful, mathematical proof for you, on any subject you want. If you finish in a week? I don't know what else I could offer you, other than my undying soul. Sujin, you know you want it. Then I could trade you your brain for my soul.

Okay, I'm copying sharnjilraedan's idea. Give me five objects, preferably from different people. Just one thing: don't give me any of the same objects that sharnjilraedan has. Please?

Okay. I'm asking to be given 5 seperate objects (Preferably from different people). I think it'll be a sufficient challenge to write a fairy tale around each of these objects.

Challenge 002: Fairy Tales

Fairy tales! Everybody loves fairy tales, or at least have loved fairy tales at one point in their lives. I know I love fairy tales and, as I have never attempted writing one before, I think now is a good time to issue a challenge about them.

And so we have Challenge 002, cleverly named "Fairy Tales". (Many thanks to my darling Moni (aka pepronei) for the challenge, because I am INSANELY UNIMAGINATIVE.) You will have two options, and you will be given thirty days (8/7 through 9/6) to complete them. (If you finish within, say, two weeks, I will draw you a really crappy picture in MS Paint of like. Something fairy-tale related.) THERE WILL BE NO PRIZE FOR EVERYONE ELSE, unless you beg for it (or I get really bored).

Option A: Write a single fairy tale novella consisting of at least twenty thousand (20,000) words. If you really want to kill yourself, try for a NaNoWriMo (so I can whack you upside the head with an imaginary book). That boils down to six hundred sixty-six point infinite amount of sixes (666.66666666, etc. ZOMG THE DEVIL'S FAIRY TALE.) words a day. Even I could manage that, if I were the type to write more than once a month.
Option B: Write a minimum of five (5!) separate short fairy tales. (I will congratulate you if every fairy tale occurs in a different world.) That is like. One and a quarter (1.25, sorry, this amuses me) stories a week. HEY MAYBE EVEN I CAN DO IT. I amuse myself entirely too much.

At midnight of August seventh (7th! =D), the challenge will begin. At midnight of September sixth, the challenge will end. Please take note that I did not put a number in parentheses that time.

Guidelines/Suggestions/Further Babble
1. If you want more information on what a fairy tale technically is, please see the link at the beginning of this post. (Memorize all of it, there will be a test later!) Please remember that fairy tales may include such things as princesses, dragons, goblins, elves, trolls, magic, etc., but don't have to include them all. And, while they are often set in more primitive times, remember that this is the twentieth century, not the fourteenth. So be creative! If you want to write about the half-elf android prince of the world DON'T LET ME STOP YOU. We probably need more modern fairy tales. (Fairy tales also often include some sort of moral to the story. I'll let you decide whether you want to think that deeply or not.)
2. Since this is a month-long challenge, I must request that you try to keep the community alive. Not just with random snippets of your works, but also with minchallenges, ideas that you may not write yourself, dares, random speculative questions about fairy tales, research you have done, requests for plot bunnies, WHATEVER. I don't want this place to fizzle while you're off being creative, think of us in your times of procrstination!
3. FANFICTION SOUNDS AMUSING. Like, seriously, write some sort of fanfic fairy tale. IT SOUNDS KICKASS, I shall probably write one. If I feel like it. I don't know. The point here is, I don't care what you write about or how you write about it, just goddamn write.
4. PLAGIARIZING IS BAD. Yes, I will probably repeat this in every challenge. For this challenge, I do in fact mean no copying off of things like Cinderalla or the Brothers Grimm unless you're spoofing them or something. And if you do...credit the damn creators.

I suppose that is all. Feel free to take the rest of the day to panic and attempt to create plot bunnies! Also, if you don't like this challenge, BLAME IT ALL ON pepronei!

ygjunkie85 has officially kicked every single one of our asses, especially mine. Anybody surprised?

Here's your crappy little banner.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Now post it somewhere and flaunt it to the entire world.

(So, who wants to make up a challenge for me? I don't feel like thinkiiiiing.)

It is August third. It was midnight eight hours ago. If you have written anything since then and want to add it to your wordcounts, please...don't.

So! My word count was a splendid 1,054, which kind of makes me want to make a splendid "I FAIL AT WRIMORE" banner for myself, but I'm not going to because the only splendid banner I will have time to make is a crappy "YOU WIN AT WRIMORE" banner. Mmm, MS Paint.

At any rate, all of ya'll can reply to this little posty and tell me what your word counts were, and you will have all day to do so. You might even have until tomorrow! I don't know, it depends on how much I care about things after working all day. You will have until I decide what I'm going to do with a banner, there you go. Hmm, I need some stock images. Yeah, whatever.

...Now I need to think of another challenge, shit.

I just thought I'd let you know that we share the interest "experimenting" with a bunch of porn and food communities.

Yeah... that's all. I'm writing. Really.

I started writing at midnight...and I just kept writing...and I didn't stop...I'm up to 17k...and I'm just beginning to lose some steam. I kinda wanna make 20k, just for a nice round number...but can I just say...How the F'ing Heck did I managed to put down 17k worth of a novel?!?!
